COVID-19 Update

As part of the Australian Health Services sector, your health and well-being remain our top priority and we are dedicated to providing you with the best hearing care service.

Our clinic is open and ready to support you with your hearing care needs during these uncertain times.

In accordance to the latest Australian Government Department of Health advice and Audiology Australia, we have implemented a comprehensive infection control program to ensure all equipment and interior surfaces are clean and safe.

What we are doing

We have always followed strict hygiene protocols to help prevent the spread of infection to clients and staff.

For the COVID-19 period and beyond, we have now adopted additional infection control protocols including:-

  • Adhering to social distancing with 1.5 metres between our team and other clients

  • Minimising contact with our Audiologists

  • Strict hand hygiene

  • Hand sanitiser being available for client use

  • Disinfection of medical equipment after every use

  • Cleaning / disinfection of clinical rooms after every client

  • Multiple cleaning / disinfection of client spaces during each day

  • Wearing appropriate protective items as appropriate.

In addition, we ask clients whether they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms such as fever and cough, shortness of breath or sore throat.

If they are, we reschedule appointments allowing at least 14 days until after their symptoms have resolved.

We appreciate your understanding of and co-operation with these measures for the health and safety of all our clients and staff.  We apologise for any inconvenience in advance.

We are here to help however we can.

During any lockdowns, we will endeavour to support with the following needs where possible and where this doesn't contravene government directives, such as:

  • Emergency hearing care - e.g. sudden hearing loss

  • Hearing care for essential services personnel

  • Urgent hearing aid maintenance

  • Hearing aid batteries (can be ordered over the phone)

  • Crucial hearing aid fitting

There are some services that we may also be able to provide through Telehealth Services, which do not require you to attend our clinic.

All services are by appointment only, so please call ahead.
